Anna won a scholarship to attend the University per stranieri in Perugia, Italy

In her middle-age (now teaching Italian in Brighton and her children having grown up) was awarded a scholarship on two instances to study Italian language, art, music, and culture at the University for Foreigners in the charming hill-top town of Perugia. Anna was very proud of this achievement and absolutely loved the university atmosphere; the professors and her scholars: she also fell in love with Perugia. It was her hope that her children and grand children would become better aquainted with their Italian patrimony.
